Privacy Policy

1. Overview

livepane ("livepane," "we," "us") hosts dashboards that AI agents produce and keeps them live after publishing. This policy explains what information we collect from account holders and visitors to published dashboards, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

2. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information: the email address you sign up with, and basic account metadata such as when your account was created.
• Dashboard content and data: the HTML you or your AI agent publish, and the rows of data extracted from it, so we can serve and refresh your dashboards.
• Upstream source configuration: if you bind a dashboard to a Google Sheet, CSV URL, or other source, we store the connection configuration. Credentials for private sources are encrypted at rest and are only decrypted inside the scheduled refresh process, and never returned by any tool or API.
• Access gate data: if you password-protect a dashboard or restrict it to an email domain, we store a salted hash of the password (never the password itself) or the allowed domain, plus session cookies for people who've unlocked access.
• Usage and log data: API requests, refresh job history, and similar operational logs, kept to operate and secure the service.

3. How we use information

We use the information above to:

• Host, render, and keep your published dashboards current
• Enforce the access gate you've chosen for each dashboard
• Run scheduled refreshes against the upstream sources you've connected
• Provide customer support and respond to requests you send us
• Detect abuse, secrets accidentally left in published HTML, and security issues
• Meter usage against your plan's storage and dashboard limits

4. How we share information

We do not sell your data. We share information only with the infrastructure providers that run livepane on our behalf (our sub-processors), currently:

• Supabase, our database and file storage provider, which holds dashboard data, artifacts, and account records.
• Vercel, which hosts the livepane application and serves published dashboards.
• Anthropic, which processes dashboard HTML and your edit requests when you use the browser-based editing assistant (dev mode).

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of livepane, our users, or the public.

5. Data retention and deletion

We keep dashboard data and version history for as long as your account and that dashboard exist. Deleting a dashboard removes its data table, stored artifacts, and bound sources. Deleting your account removes all dashboards associated with it. Some records, such as billing history, may be retained longer where we're required to for accounting or legal purposes.

6. Security

Every dashboard's data lives in its own table with row-level security enabled, so one account's data is never reachable from another account's credentials. Source credentials are encrypted at rest. Service-role database credentials never reach any client-side code. We rate-limit publish and edit actions, and gate attempts, to reduce abuse.

7. Your rights and choices

You can access, export, or delete your dashboards at any time through the tools connected to your account, or by contacting us. If you're located somewhere with a legal right to request a copy of your data or its deletion outside of those tools, contact us and we'll act on it.

8. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies: to keep you signed in, and to remember that a visitor has unlocked a password- or email-gated dashboard. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Children's privacy

livepane is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll remove it.

10. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify account holders directly.
